Video: Samantha takes on Silambam like a boss

Silambam, a Tamil-based martial arts sport has recently caught Samantha's interest; She calls it her new hobby and is keen on getting better at it.

She tweets "Because I like a challenge. New hobby. Silambam. Can't wait to get better at this." She also shared a video in which she is seen practising Silambam, like a professional.

In the video, the way she swings that bamboo stick from one hand to the other, also moving forward and back at the same time is a treat to the eyes.

On the career front, Samantha is currently shooting for Telugu film Raja Gari Gadhi 2 that stars Nagarjuna, her father-in-law to be, in which she is rumoured to be playing a ghost. Vijay 61 is another film in her kitty And, she will play a significant role in Savithri’s biopic. 

Also in a rom-com, Irumbu Thirai opposite Vijay Sethupathi. She will also be seen in Sukumar’s next opposite Ram Charan.
