Anurag has made a mark in the film industry for his off-beat style of filmmaking and the launch of the movie's trailer hints at a scary and intriguing tale.

The movie is reportedly based on the notorious serial killer 'Psycho' Raman, who operated in Mumbai during the mid-1960s. After Raman had been arrested, he admitted to having killed 23 people in 1966 and a dozen in 1968. But the police believe the number could be much higher.

The director has denied any resemblance to the killer Raman Raghav aka Psycho Raman but the name of the movie seems to tell a different tale.  Nawazuddin Siddiqui plays the titular role while Vicky Kaushal plays the role of a cop in the film.

This is the fourth time that Anurag and Nawazuddin are coming together for a movie. The film is set to premiere at the Cannes Film Festival this year.

The actor-director duo has already given us great movies like Black Friday and Gangs of Wasseypur

Raman Raghav 2.0 is set to release on June 24th, 2016.
