The release of a controversial autobiography about actress Leelavathi has caused a storm in Sandalwood. The book allegedly mentions an affair between Dr. Rajkumar and Leelavathi. Rajkumar’s son declined to comment on the book’s contents.

The release of Ravi Belagere’s book Raj Leela Vinoda continues to cause a storm even though its official release function scheduled on Christmas Day was cancelled by police on security grounds. The book, an autobiography of actress Leelavathi, talks of her relationship with Sandalwood icon Dr. Rajkumar.

As the book is currently on sale, there has been public curiosity on the opinion of family members of Rajkumar. CiniAdda, a private entertainment news channel managed to talk with Rajkumar’s son, Shivarajkumar, during a press interaction with the team of the Sri Kanta movie at Chamundeshwari Studio, Bengaluru.

The CiniAdda reporter sought to know Shivarajkumar’s reactions to the book even though she was warned by his friends at the press meet it would annoy him. However, the actor calmly said that he was not bothered about the book and didn’t know anything about it. “Whenever I meet Leelavathi amma, I touch her feet and take her blessings. That is how much I adore Leelavathi,” the actor declared.

When pressed by the journalist on whether his parents had discussed the relationship with him, Shivarajkumar declared that they hadn’t. He concluded saying, “You know I’m straightforward. I fear my family and my fans and I fear God. Otherwise, I don’t care for anybody.”
