Police case filed against Sunny Leone for promoting pornography

Sunny Leone has been time and again questioned for her past as an adult-film star. Last December, her New Year’s Eve's dance show was cancelled in Bengaluru after a major controversy.

Pro-Kannada groups held a series of protests demanding to ban Sunny. They alleged that her visit to the city posed a threat to the Kannada culture.

Now, Sunny once again finds herself amidst controversy down South. A police complaint was filed in Chennai against Sunny, who was scheduled to take part in an event on February 10th. A social activist, Emi alias Enoch Moses, registered his complaint at the Nazarathpet police station alleging she was ‘promoting pornography.’

There are times where people from different sections of the society go ahead and raise objections to Sunny being a celebrity in India.

There hasn't been any official statement from Sunny on the matter yet.

Currently, Sunny is also shooting for her upcoming Tamil film Veeramadevi. The film is a multilingual one and will release in many vernacular languages across India. The movie is bankrolled by Ponse Stephen and will feature Navdeep as an antagonist.

Talking about the south, Sunny is currently shooting for a Tamil film, Veeramadevi, which went on the floors earlier this week in Chennai. The film is a multilingual one and will release in many vernacular languages across India.
