Actress Anna Rajan, popularly known as Lichi, the character she played in her debut movie Angamaly Diaries, is finally happy that megastar Mammootty called her after she was trolled and received hate comments by his fans. 

The young actress found herself in the eye of the storm for giving a smart reply to a tricky question during a recent TV show interview. When asked if she'd like to act with Dulquer Salmaan or Mammootty, the Angamaly Diaries actress responded saying that she'd like to be Dulquer's heroine and Mammootty could act as his father.

Anna also blamed the media for twisting her statements. And on Tuesday, she revealed that Mammootty himself called her up, and it was a dream come true. 

Anna stressed how the megastar’s words gave her comfort and courage to face all kinds of tough situations. She also pointed out that talking to Mammootty was like a dream, and also thanked the actor for the courtesy he showed to call someone like her, who is only two films old.

“I was supposed to play Mammookka’s heroine, but the project got delayed, and I was chosen as Lalettan’s heroine in Velipadinte Pusthakam," she added.
