There has been a lot of anticipation doing rounds on the web regarding Amazon Prime Video’s Halal Love story. The trailer of the film was dropped recently  which includes the story of a group of film lovers and how they leave no stones unturned to fulfill their dream of shooting a film.

"Halal Love Story is about the co-existence of two sets of diverse people portrayed humorously", shares Director Zakariya Mohammed

A Film Making Process inside a Film? Amazon Prime Video’s Halal Love Story seems to have covered it all.

When asked about the parallels of a film making process portrayed in the film, Director Zakariya Mohammed spills some beans and says, “While there is a film within the film, through our story and narrative we wanted to give a different perspective of working on a film.

Halal Love Story is about a group of religious people who decide to make a film. They are film enthusiasts and are involved in other art forms like drama, street plays, but now aspire to make a movie that adheres to their religious/social restrictions."

He further reveals, "Halal Love Story is about the coexistence of these two sets of diverse people and we tell the story sincerely in a humorous way." Halal Love story surely promises a fun ride, and there's no way one would want to miss it.

The Malayalam comedy-drama will be available to the Prime members in over 200 countries and territories from October 15 via Amazon Prime Video. Directed by Zakariya Mohammed and bankrolled by Aashiq Abu, Harshad Ali, and Jesna Ashim, Halal Love Story stars an Indrajith Sukumaran, Jojo Geeorge, Grace Antonry, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Soubin Shahir, and Sharaf U Dheen in its pivotal roles.
