Rashmika Mandanna is already creating a buzz among Kannada film lovers and grabbing the headline for her upcoming projects. Before entering the tinsel town she got some negative advice from the people around her
The actress' debut movie Kirik Party that released last week is running houseful across Karnataka, and the film crossed ₹10 crore gross collections at the box office in the first week itself. In the movie, she plays a Kodava-speaking character, which happens to be her mother tongue.

She has the perfect girl-next-door looks which is loved by the viewer, and that helped her to bag the lead role opposite to the Challenging Star Darshan in his next film helmed by Prakash of Milana fame.
Rashmika is currently in the fifth semester of BA (Psychology, Journalism and English Literature) at City College. In an interview, she said that "My Journalism course helped me to step out into the real world. So, when I came into the industry, I was ready for some practical training. So it has helped me hone my behaviour in the public eye."
Before entering the tinsel town she got some negative advice from the people around her, "When I began telling people that I was entering the film industry, the only advice I got was ‘Be careful’ or ‘People might take advantage of you’. Fortunately, I had a good set of people around me,”

Her social media account shows the model-turned-actress is a big time animal lover and has a bubbly personality. She has posted many pictures along with cats and dogs. Rashmika also has a few pictures of her family members in which many of the pictures are liked my her co-star Rakshit Shetty.
