Bollywood's Dhak Dhak girl Madhuri Dixit has been part of some of the most iconic numbers in Hindi film industry. Be it Dhak Dhak Karne Laga, Humko Aaj Kal Hai Intezaar, Choli Ke Peeche, Maar Daala, Mera Piya Ghar Aaya, Choli Ke Peeche--to name a few--the actress has aced each one of these songs.

1) Dhak Dhak (Beta)

In this song she captures the heart of millions with her expressions, dance moves, charm and winning smile in this song. And that sexy midriff-exposing backless orange ghagra choli still makes every man go dhak-dhak!

2) Choli Ke Peeche (Khalnaayak)

During the nineties, this song raised quite a lot of conservatives. The song was a rage and perhaps the best choreographed song of that decade. Madhuri's graceful movements and her striking figure were obviously the reasons behind its success.

Channe ke khet (Anjaam)

Excellent movie, brilliant acting, best dance number, remember the thumb-hook step? This song also created an enormous controversy because of its double-edged lyrics, but the popularity of this song Channe ke khet was propelled mainly because of Madhuri’s dance moves and its folk-based beats.

Didi Tera Devar Deewana (Hum Aapke Hai Kaun)

She proved that dance is not all about moves; it's about expressions and feeling the music. Yes, the thumkas and that purple satin saree paired with the sexy blouse...really cannot be forgotten.

Humko Aaj Kal Hai Intezaar (Sailaab)

In this song, Madhuri’s sizzling Maharashtrian looks completely floored her fans. Well, this item song certainly showed, how a song based on folklore beats can be as hot and sizzling and the credit goes to Madhuri.

Maar Daala (Devdas)

This mujra song from Devdas has reserved its place as an iconic number in Bollywood’s history. This song is even more special because Madhuri was pregnant with her first child during the song’s shoot and she carried a costume weighing around 10 Kgs!

Akhiyan Milaun (Raja)

The song was an unconventional, hipster style number and the star totally rocked the black high-waist pants and dancing on the top of the car.

Kay Sera Sera (Pukar)

Two epic dancers in one frame- Madhuri and Prabhu Deva! She is probably the only female dancer in Bollywood who could match Prabhu Deva’s steps to perfection.

Aaja Nachale (Aaja Nachle)

Fans waited in anticipation for this song to release. The reason being, it was Madhuri’s comeback item song, post her marriage. And quite inevitably the song was a complete treat, paisa vasool number.

Dola re (Devdas)

Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Devdas which brought together Paro (Aishwarya Rai) and Chandramukhi (Madhuri Dixit) on a dance floor for an awesome song Dola re. Saroj Khan won a National Award for the best choreography that year.
