Targeting Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee over poor governance while addressing a rally in West Bengal's Bankura, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the people of the state have decided that TMC’s game will end on May 2.

Speaking at an election rally in West Bengal’s Bankura district, PM Narendra Modi said on Sunday, “Didi will go on May 2. Won’t let her kick out development in Bengal. ‘Asol paribartan’ will come to ensure that the benefits of central schemes reach the poor. We will also ensure that extortion, syndicate raj and corruption come to an end.”

“Didi, if you want you can put your foot on my head and kick me but I will not let you kick Bengal's development and dreams of its people,” the PM said.

"BJP will bring the 'Asol Poriborton' in Bengal. The game of Corruption - Cholbe naa! The game of Syndicate - Cholbe naa! The game of cut money - Cholbe naa! After the BJP forms the government, maa'er pujo hobe, maatir tilak hobe aar manusher somman hobe!," the Prime Minister said.

PM Modi also slammed the West Bengal government for not implementing the Centre’s policies. “TMC government has expertise over changing every Scheme into Scam. Therefore, Mamata DIdi is not implementing schemes like Aayushman Bharat, PM Kisan, as there is no space for changing these schemes into scams.”

Blasting the West Bengal CM for making hollow promises in the last 10 years, the PM asked where is the work you claim to have done.

You keep saying ‘Khela Hobe’ while people of West Bengal have decided 'Khela Shesh Hobe', he added.

Modi also said that anticipating defeat in the West Bengal assembly elections, Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee has already started questioning the functioning of EVMs which had brought her to power 10 years ago.

"Anticipating defeat, Didi has already started questioning the EVMs (electronic voting machine) which had brought her to power 10 years back," Modi said addressing a well-attended election rally here.
