The murder case of actor and rowdy sheeter Surendra Bantwal has got a new dimension with the allegations made by his mother. Radha, Surendra’s mother has claimed that Surendra was killed to lay hands on one crore rupees cash and gold ornaments he had with him.

Bantwal: The murder of actor and rowdy sheeter Surendra Bantwal, has now acquired a new dimension. It is being said that Surendra was killed to lay hands on one crore rupees cash he had with him.

This allegation was made by Radha, mother of Surendra, and brother Chandrahas in Mangaluru.

Late Surendra’s family members claim that he had one crore rupees cash in the flat and he had about a kilogram of gold ornaments on his body, which is why he was eliminated with an eye on these things.

The family members added that "Even after we told the police, they are not willing to accept our complaint. Therefore, we will complain to the superintendent of police about the cash and ornaments".

Radha and Chandrahas said that Sathish Kulal, who grew at their house, had committed this murder along with some others.

The family added that it was not only Kulal, but several other unseen hands have worked behind this murder.

Radha said that her son had told her about the cash he had in his flat three days back. "Therefore, my understanding is that he was killed for cash and ornaments" she added.

The murder of rowdy sheeter and actor Surendra Bantwal at Vasti Katta, Bastipadpu on October 21, has raised concerns in the police establishment about the growing brazenness of the underworld.
