Former Bigg Boss Kannada contestant, stage dancer and Bengaluru’s first drag queen Adam Pasha is reportedly creating a ruckus at the NCB jail. Adam has refused to be in cell for the sexual minority and wants to be lodged at the cell for women.
Bengaluru: Former Bigg Boss Kannada contestant, stage dancer and Bengaluru’s first drag queen Adam Pasha is reportedly creating a ruckus at the Narcotics Control Bureau jail.
According to sources the NCB sleuths had lodged Adam in the cell dedicated to sexual minorities after he was arrested.
However, Adam asked the NCB sleuths to shift him to a women’s cell. It is reported that Adam told the officers that he dresses like women but has not had a gender change and would want to be in the women’s cell as he identifies himself as a drag queen.
Confused with Adam’s sexuality and his demands the NCB sleuths have not lodged Adam at the quarantine cell in the jail.
The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), Bengaluru zone, on October 20 arrested Bigg Boss Kannada Season 6 contestant Adam Pasha under the Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, 1985.
Adam Pasha is alleged to have purchased drugs from peddler Anikha D, who was first arrested in August by the NCB.
Amit Ghawate, NCB, Bengaluru Zonal Director, said "a lot of transactions had happened between Pasha and Anikha. During the investigation Adam Pasha has confirmed that she has been taking MDMA for more than two years".
