The utmost priority of Team India right now is to emerge victorious in the ICC World Test Championship final against New Zealand and be crowned as the undisputed king of Test cricket. On the same note, the Indians are sweating it out at the Rose Bowl in Southampton, the venue for the final.

The Indians took part in yet another group training session on Day 2, on Thursday. The Board of Control for Cricket in India shared a video of the same on social media, where players like Ravichandran Ashwin, Jasprit Bumrah, Rishabh Pant, Cheteshwar Pujara, Rohit Sharma, Ajinkya Rahane, Mohammed Shami and skipper Virat Kohli practised at the nets.

Ashwin, Bumrah and Shami took turns to bowl at the Indian batsmen, who played all kinds of shots. Meanwhile, it seemed that Ashwin went for runs aplenty, as the batsmen went big against him. The video was captioned, "#TeamIndia get into the groove for the #WTC21 Final 👊👊".

The team also took part in an intra-squad match. The BCCI shared a few pictures of the same. In the images, seamer Shami is seen bowling at Shubman Gill, while pacer Mohammed Siraj bowls at Pujara.

Here's how India trained on Day 1.

Meanwhile, a few players also gave their reaction ahead of the final. "Look, I think Test cricket is the ultimate form of the sport that we have. It is also the greatest test of a cricketer's ability, mental space and everything. So, I think for a long time, cricket has wanted this sort of space and contest in Test cricket. Looking forward to the final, actually," said Ashwin.

Pacer Ishant Sharma reckoned, " This is the final of an ICC tournament, and it is obviously no less than a World Cup final."

In the meantime, Shami considered, "We must win this because it's the final of the Test Championship. So, we would definitely want to return home by winning this."
