Bengaluru Rural Lok Sabha MP DK Suresh tested positive for COVID-19 on October 6.  

Punjab health minister Balbir Sidhu has tested positive for coronavirus. On Monday, he shared the stage with Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and Punjab chief minister Amarinder Singh.  

The JJP chief also urged all those who had come in contact with him over the past week to also get themselves tested.  

Minister Kadakampally Surendran said the government will examine the recommendations of the panel in detail on October 7  

Veteran Bengali actor and Dada Saheb Phalke winner Soumitra Chattopadhyay tested positive for COVID-19 on Tuesday (October 6) morning. He was admitted to Bellevue Nursing Home in Kolkata.  

 All standard operating protocols (SOPs) issued by I&B Ministry must be followed at all cinema halls/theatres, said Union information and broadcasting minister Prakash Javadekar.

Just before leaving Walter Reed, Trump announced on Twitter that he would be back on the campaign trail soon.

The chief minister will remain in self isolation at his official residence Oak Over in Shimla. Since returning from the inaugural ceremony he has stayed in isolation.
