CBSE to release Class 10th, 12th Datesheet 2022: Term 1 timings, where to check
The Central Board of Secondary Education is set to release on Monday the date sheet for term 1 examinations for Class 10 and Class 12.

The first term examination will be held for minor subjects only. The CBSE intends to conduct the term 1 exam, which will be in objective format, in November-December 2021. The exam duration will be 90 minutes.
As for term 2, the CBSE has announced that it will hold the examination in March-April 2022 either in the subjective or objective format.
More importantly, these examinations will be held in offline mode only. The CBSE has also said that the marks of both the term examinations will be contributed to the final overall score of students.
How to check the date sheet?

Click the Main Website, search for 'CBSE 12th date sheet' or 'CBSE 10th date sheet'

Right-click and open the date sheet in a new tab (once released)

Download or take a printout
Major and minor subjects
To avoid learning loss for students, the CBSE has classified the 75 subjects in Class 10 and the 114 subjects in Class 12 into major and minor subjects.
With regard to minor subjects, the CBSE has announced that it will make a group of schools offering these subjects. Accordingly, more than one exam will be conducted in the schools on a day.
As for major subjects, exams will be held by fixing the date sheet as has been done earlier as well considering that these subjects are offered by all CBSE-affiliated schools.
Duration of the examination
The duration of the entire examination, taking into account all the subjects offered, would be 40-45 days.
Each 90-minute exam will begin from 11:30 AM instead of 10:30 AM keeping in view the winter session.
Besides, students will be also given 20 minutes of reading time.
