From Afsana Khan to Shehzad Deol: Bigg Boss contestants who were slammed for sexual slurs
There have been many Bigg Boss contestants who have made headlines for their offensive slurs on sexuality.
FollowAlthough the Indian entertainment industry has made progress, in the LGBTQ community has been depicted distasteful slurs on sexuality are a common thing. We had seen an incident in the house of Bigg Boss 15 where singer Afsana Khan had called Devon Ke Dev Mahadev actor Vishal Kotian gay. The comment did not gel well with Vishal, and everyone in the Bigg Boss house had gone against her. Afsana was asked by many to apologise and not hurt the sentiments of the LGBTQ community. Salman had also entered the Bigg Boss house to school Afsana. He explained to her calmly about all the dirty remarks she had made about the participants and explained where she was wrong.

It was in the house of Bigg Boss 14 where Shehzad Deol and Nishant Singh Malkani had an ugly fight. Shehzad had called Nishant hijra (eunuch). Rubina, who had played the role of a eunuch in her serial Shakti - Astitve Ke Ehsaas Ki, had asked Shehzad to apologise to Nishant and the entire hijra community.
Madhurima Tuli- Vishal Aditya Singh
It was in the house of Bigg Boss 13 that Madhurima had addressed Vishal as a hijra. The actress had faced significant backlash. She was scolded by Vishal's ex-girlfriend Kamya Panjabi and by Salman Khan.

Asim Riaz- Vikas Gupta
Asim had made headlines in the house of Bigg Boss 13 after he had made a homophobic comment on Vikas Gupta. Asim was seen talking to actor Paras Chhabra and Vishal Aditya Singh regarding razors. Asim told Vikas with a smirk that aloe vera razors were also available.  Asim's comment did not gel well with Vikas, who had schooled him related to the same.
