FollowOla has extended the deadline for new purchases of its electric Ola S1 scooters till December 16. The company had said that the purchase window for fresh orders would begin on November 1. Ola has released three variations of the scooter to meet the demands of clients. The first model will be the most basic, with a 2kW motor. The basic variant's peak speed will be 45kmph. The second model will be the mid-range model, with a 4kW engine. The peak speed of the intermediate variation will be 70kmph. The final variant will be the most expensive. The top-end model will feature a peak speed of 95kmph and a 7kW motor. While the early conjecture about the Ola Scooter was 240 kilometres, Ola has verified that the scooter would have a 150-kilometre all-electric range, but this will be a real-world figure, not just a promised number.

If you charge it from a charging station, it will take around two and a half hours to charge from zero entirely. The batteries may be charged up to 50% in just 18 minutes at a supercharging station. Using a standard socket at home, charging the scooter will take five and a half hours. When the battery is fully charged, the owner receives a notice via an app.
A 7-inch touchscreen display is included with the scooter. The screen will provide critical scooter information as well as GPS navigation.
Furthermore, the scooter has 4G connectivity and will offer functions such as Youtube, Calling, etc. Similarly, if an abnormality is detected, the scooter will diagnose it and report it to both the owner and the repair centre. It also has a keyless start and a 'find my scooter' option.
