  • Jagan’s confidence is raising eyebrows as to the political connotation behind this comment
YSRCP will win 137 seats in 2019 elections says YS Jagan

Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party supremo YS Jaganmohan Reddy in his Praja Sankalpa padayatra confidently stated his party would win 137 seats out of the 175 Assembly seats in the 2019 General Elections. This news shocked other political parties and threw them in confusion as to where his confidence stemmed from.

Jagan began his padayatra on November 6 to walk 3,000 kms in six months covering 125 constituencies to meet the people and share their problems. He also intends to form his 3-page manifesto based on the requests of the people.

In his daily meetings with the people during his padayatra, he has been making innumerable promises to the people and in detail explaining his chores as soon as he takes up the responsibility of Chief Ministership. His promises are giving nightmares to the ruling Telugu Desam Party but happiness to his leaders.

But Jagan’s recent statement of winning 137 seats has thrown people in disarray as to the cause behind the confidence, if it was a mind game or a survey or a feed back. But Jagan succeeded in riveting everyone’s attention.
