Earlier last week, Jagan during a rally in Nandyal said that it wouldn’t be wrong to shoot Chandrababu for not fulfilling his promises. His remarks now have sparked an angry reaction. Many TDP leaders criticised Jagan, burnt his effigies and conducted rallies against him.

TDP MP TG Venkatesh speaking to the media in Kurnool said that Jagan’s comments against a father figure like Chandrababu are not worthy of him. He said that even one untoward remark would affect his bright future. He said Nandyal people would lose development if they didn’t support TDP.

Similarly, TDP MLC Payyavula Kesav said that Jagan is continuing the Pulivendula history of blood. He also said that Jagan is not fit to be in politics and in fact, should be kept away from people.

Jagan is capable of sacrificing his father, mother and sister for politics and power. Even after his jail term, he has not learnt a lesson, he added.

TDP leader and AP Finance Corporation Chairperson Panchumarti Anuradha criticised Jagan saying that his family has a history of killing people in Rayalaseema. His gang is worse than Kalakeya gang, she said.

Another criticism was made by TDP MLA Varla Ramaiah who demanded that Jagan should apologise to Chandrababu. He also criticised that Jagan’s batch is similar to that of ‘blade batch’.
