Senior TDP leaders from Prakasam district to quit YSRCP

Two senior leaders from Telugu Desam Party (TDP) have decided to leave the party and join Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP).

The two leaders claimed that TDP was giving more importance to the defected leaders from YSRCP.

Karanam Balaram from Addanki constituency and Divi Sivaram from Kandukuru constituency have now announced that they are leaving TDP.

The rift between Karanam and defected leader Gottipati Ravi Kumar has been reaching a crescendo with TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu supporting Gottipati over Karanam.

Word has it that Karanam felt that he had no future in TDP, so he and his supporters contacted YSRCP supremo YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Karanam’s son Karanam Venkatesh may also get YSRCP ticket in Addanki constituency.

Former MLA Divi Sivaram from Kandukuru is facing similar issues. Both are expected to join YSRCP are Nandyal-elections.
