Naidu quick to please private companies but disappoints farmers

While the Andhra government in recent days have been quick to allocate acres of properties to private companies, the poor farmers of the state are still waiting for their promised “plot.”

For building the new capital – Amaravathi – the AP government had acquired acres of land from the farmers in the state, and in return, Chandrababu Naidu had promised them plots for their loss.

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu in recent days allotted thousands of acres of land to Private Companies.

Geetam University, Amity University, Basavatarakam Cancer Hospital, AP Non-Resident Telugu Society, Ernst and Young, Xtreme Projects, Indroyal Hotels are some of the companies who sent their presentation to the government for which the Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) showed its acceptance to allotted lands.

Chandrababu Naidu is always considered as a Corporate CM and true to that he allotted acres of lands to private educational institutions. He is considering not only educational institutions but hotels, hospitals and real estate companies.

But none of the schemes till now have mention of the farmers from whom he had secured thousands of acres of land for building the new capital city.
