Mudragadas influence on Kapus can be trouble for TDP

Kapu reservation agitation leader and former MP Mudragada Padmanabham called the Kapu community not to vote for TDP (Telugu Desam Party) in the Nandyal by-election and Kakinada Corporation election.

“Kapu community on the whole should vote against TDP in Nandyal and Kakinada to teach Chandrababu a lesson,” he said.

With this call, people can  estimate the influence Mudragada holds in the Kapu community. On Thursday, Mudragada met with 13 district JAC leaders in his home in Kirlampudi and discussed in detail about the current situation. He said that Kapu reservation agitation is in its final stage and it’s a do or die situation if they have to make the CM implement his promise.

He reiterated the need to show the force of Kapu community by voting against TDP in Nandyal and Kakinada. He charged Chandrababu of partiality questioning him as to how it was possible for TDP leaders to have rallies in the Benz Circle, the centre of Vijayawada and Kapu leaders were not given permission to have their padayatra?

Mudragada also stated a crucial point that women should be given prominence in the next agitation. He said that nothing can stand against women power. If Kapu community follows Mudragada’s call, then there would be trouble for ruling TDP as both the places are dominated by Kapu community and the fate of a candidate is decided by them.
