Lakshmi Parvathi speaks in support of Jagans Nandyal comments

In the by-election campaign of Nandyal, Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YCP) supremo YS Jagan Mohan Reddy made some critical comments on Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu and his three-year rule.

In his comments, Jagan said that it is not wrong to shoot the CM for not fulfilling even one promise of the 12 he gave to Kurnool district in the 2014 elections. These comments raised a hue and cry among the TDP supporters who resorted to burning of effigies, verbal attacks on Jagan and filing complaints with the police.

There has been an inflow of comments and counter-comments from both the parties. In this context, Lakshmi Parvathi, the wife of former CM of AP and the founder of TDP Nandamuri Taraka Rao spoke to the media about her observations.

Speaking to Tupaki news portal, Lakshmi Parvathi said, “There’s nothing wrong in what Jagan spoke in Nandyal meeting. NTR might have entered Jagan and made him speak in such a way. Chandrababu has the history of luring MLAs and killing a father-like father-in-law. Chandrababu is indirectly involved in many murders. TDP leaders should self examine themselves regarding murder politics.”

She also said that Jagan only vented out the anguish of the Nandyal people. Chandrababu gave 12 promises to the Kurnool people in his 2014 election manifesto but did not even fulfil one promise. Jagan must have been moved by Chandrababu’s con words and reiterated Jagan’s words that there is nothing wrong in giving any punishment to Chandrababu.
