Tollywood’s young tiger Junior NTR enthralled his audience with a triple role in his Dasara release Jai Lava Kusa. It was a blockbuster hit and till recently was seen in the theatres.
Trade analysts announced the business of Jai Lava Kusa state-wise, nationally and world-wide gross income.
In the Nizam area, it collected Rs 16 crore share, Vizag Rs 7 crore, East Rs 5.57 crore, West Rs 3.74 crore, Krishna Rs 4.96 crore and in Nellore it collected Rs 2.54 crore shares.
In Andhra Pradesh Jai Lava Kusa secured Rs 29.73 crore shares while in Ceded region it garnered Rs 12.04 crore shares. The total business in Nizam and Andhra is Rs 93.15 crore, gross income of which Rs 57.79 crores are shares.
In Karnataka Jai Lava Kusa did business of Rs 15 crore gross with Rs 7.48 crores share. In the US collection, Rs 10.20 crores was gross and Rs. 5.10 crores was the share.
In Tamil Nadu the film did a business of Rs 1.30 crores and in other parts of the country, Rs 1.15 crores. It collected Rs 2.52 crores share in other countries apart from US. Worldwide Jai Lava Kusa had a gross of Rs 130.9 crores with Rs 75.34 crores share.
Theatrical value of business of the film was Rs 86 crores and it recovered Rs 87.6 per cent. NTR created a history in the south with three hat trick films with a gross of $ 1.5 million.
