“Chandrababu deserves to be hanged for not fulfilling his promises,” Jagan said during a road show.

“Chandrababu is now repeating the same promises and is reiterating the same assurances which he did not fulfil during his three years in office. What shall we do this cheat? There is nothing wrong if we hang him in public,” Jagan said.

Jagan started his yatra from Nunepally and passed through Deebaguntla and Chabrolu in Gospadu Mandal. He spoke mostly on issues about Kurnool district and the promises Naidu had made in August 2014 while speaking at Kondareddy Burz and reminded them that none of the promises were fulfilled.

Jagan had already received notice from chief electoral officer Bhanwarlal asking for an explanation on his inflammatory comments against CM and Telugu Desam Party chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu during his public meeting at Nandyal on August 3.

The EC took suo motu cognizance of Jagan’s comments, ‘It is not wrong to shoot the CM for not fulfilling his promises’. To which Jagan gave an explanation that he is anguished by TDP government’s failure in keeping up their pre-electoral promises and that he had nothing personal against Chandrababu.

But on Thursday Jagan once again made similar comments against Chandrababu.

TDP leaders are now demanding serious action from the EC against Jagan. Tourism Minister Bhuma Akhila Priya reportedly lodged a complaint with the Returning Officer.
