In a unique revenge bid against his boss, a doctor with the Proddutur district government hospital in Kadapa district, tried to inject his boss with HIV-infected blood, but failed.

According to police, the orthopaedician, Dr David Raju plunged at his boss and the superintendent of the hospital-Dr Lakshmi Prasad-with a syringe laced with the infected blood. Fortunately, the hospital super was alerted by a staff member after the latter saw Raju with the syringe, heading towards the cabin.
