- Purandeswari also requests the Centre to reconsider the re-estimate of the project cost
Former Union Minister and Senior BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) leader Daggupati Purandeswari expressed her opinion that Andhra Pradesh should respond positively with the Centre regarding Polavaram Project and avoid to divided talk in the state.
Addressing the media in Vijayawada, she reiterated the fact that the Centre stands firm on its decision to complete the Project on time. After meeting with the Central Minister Nitin Gadkari and Water Resources Special Secretary Amarjeet Singh, she realised the state of miscommunication between the Centre and the State.
