Botsa Satyanarayana was doubtful as to what sort of democracy was working in Andhra Pradesh He says that he has his doubts since he feels that the state is ruled by the police He directed these barbs against the Chandrababu government
The Yuvajana Sramik Rythu Congress Party (YCP) leader Botsa Satyanarayana made some radical comments when he questioned the existence of democratic rule in the AP CM Chandrababu’s government.

Speaking to the media on Monday, he put forward his doubts as to a special constitution being implemented in the state. This doubt arose from the debacle surrounding the Mudragada Padmanabham’s ‘Chalo Amaravathi’ rally on the 26th of July.
The AP government had lined up a policemen from Kakinada to Amaravathi to stop the Mudragada rally on Kapu Reservation in Backward Class. He questioned the CM for filing a case on everyone in the Kapu community. He directly questioned Chandrababu, “Is Mudragada Padmanabham instigating any terrorist activity”
He said that the East Godavari district resembles a curfew-hit town now. Botsa warned that if Mudragada is placed under house arrest, then every Kapu would become another Mudragada.
He reiterated the fact that YCP would support anyone fighting for the election promises of TDP.
