AP CM shots back at man for asking him about power cuts Calls him mad drunk

This was probably the last straw in the anti-TDP rumours in Andhra Pradesh. After details of the government withdrawing corruption and criminal charges against 23 ministers, this incident in Nandyala proves how Chandrababu Naidu is failing to keep his promises to the people.

In a campaign for his party member Bhuma Brahmananda Reddy for by-poll, Naidu was heard accolading his government and party members to work relentlessly toward the development of Andhra Pradesh. He also attempted to highlight how well his government has been functioning pertaining to electricity supply in the area when the man asked him about the power cuts. According to a report by the Deccan Chronicle, Naidu took offence and shot back at the man asking him if he was "drunk" or "out of his mind".

The report quotes him saying, "How dare you talk to me like that? I came as a political leader and Chief Minister. In front of so many of my party activists, you dare to talk in that way. Are you mad? Are you drunk? If you have been sent by the YSR Congress, don't come to my meeting. Stay at home."

However, this is not the first case. Naidu had garnered controversies earlier too when he met with a group of people who had raised some issues at Nandyal. He was reported to have told them, "If you don’t like my administration, do not take pensions doled out by my government nor walk on the roads laid by my government."

On a lighter note, guess how the CM would have reacted to the requests of this drunk man whose WhatsApp video went viral a year back:
