On March 23, a 40-year-old Indian woman hailing from Andhra Pradesh and her 7-year-old son were dead in New Jersey of the USA. The family is a native of Prakasam district of Andhra Pradesh and the mother of the deceased woman has been quoted by PTI as saying that “We suspect that they have been murdered following an affair of my son-in-law with another woman there.” According to reports, the husband allegedly strangled his wife and son to death.

The murder was also raised in Parliament, and many members expressed their concern over the incident. Few parliament members also demanded that PM Narendra Modi should address this issue with the US President Trump.
