Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday said that the smog tower has given good and the government will take a call to have more such structures. “Good results of smog tower so far; will continue to analyse results and then take a call to have more such structures,” Delhi CM Kejriwal told reporters.
In a bid to combat air pollution in Delhi, Kejriwal announced a 10-point "winter action plan" that focuses on dust control, using the Pusa bio-decomposer, installing smog towers, ban on firecrackers, stubble burning, Green War Rooms, Eco waste park, Green Delhi app and checking waste burning and vehicular emissions. Currently, air pollution is under control in Delhi but it will start rising with stubble burning in the neighbouring states in winters, he added.
