Suvendu Adhikari files nomination from Nandigram constituency
BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari on Friday (March 12) filed nomination for the upcoming West Bengal Assembly election.
Suvendu Adhikari filed his nomination from the Nandigram Assembly Constituency at the Haldia SDO's Office.
After filling the nomination paper, Adhikari said, “The journey to bring REAL change and recreate a Sonar Bangla starts.”
“Honoured to stand with the people of Nandigram all these years and it's my duty to be by their side in the future as well,” he added.

Before submitting the nomination paper, Suvendu Adhikari visited a couple of temples in Nandigram and addressed a public meeting. At the meeting, he said, “Suvendu Adhikari said, “I have an old relationship with the people of Nandigram. Mamata Banerjee remembers them every five years when polls come. People of Nandigram will defeat her in upcoming polls. Today I am also filing my nomination and I am also a voter of the area.”
Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan accompanied Suvendu Adhikari when he went to file his nomination as the BJP candidate from Nandigram.
