Abhishek Banerjee further referred to PM's promise of "Sonar Bangla (a golden state)". "Why haven't you been able to build a Sonar India. Why not Sonar Tripura?"

Abhishek further said, “If the Trinamool Congress comes to power in the state, there will be more development in the area. Those who do not stand by the people in danger, those who do not work for the development of the people, those who only destroy the people, they are the ones who are talking big now. The real game will start after the counting of votes on May 2. That game will be a game of development. The game will start from the jungle on March 26, then end on April 29. The actual game will start as soon as the results of the game are announced. That game is the game of development.”

The West Bengal Assembly Elections 2021 will be held in 8 phases from March 27 while the final phase will be held on April 29. The counting of votes will take place on May 2.
