Viral: Paulo Coelho shares photo of Kerala auto with his name on it; netizens react

Recently, the Brazilian author published a message about one Indian fan's devotion to him. Unlike the one-liners and quips printed on the backs of public vehicles in India, this autorickshaw caught the desi Twitterverse off guard after Paulo Coelho posted the photo.

Coelho shared a snapshot of a vehicle from Kerala with his name printed on the back and the title of his book, The Alchemist, written at the bottom in Malayalam. The author captioned the shot, "Kerala, India (thank you very much for the photo)."

With almost 15 million followers on the microblogging network, desi admirers quickly noticed the photo he uploaded. Many people praised the author and his book. Some have referred to Coelho as "one of Kerala's most renowned" modern-day novelists.
