Tamil Nadu Youth Breaks Record For Having the Longest Tongue; Watch Video
20-year-old Praveen, a resident from Thiruthangal of Viruthnagar district in Tamil Nadu, has made it to the Indian Book of Records.
FollowBE robotics Student Praveen, a resident from Thiruthangal of Viruthnagar district in Tamil Nadu, has been certified for having the longest tongue. He has a 10.8 cm long tongue and achieved the record at 20 years of age.
The most extended tongue in the Guinness book of world records measures 10.1 cm (3.97 in), and it belongs to Nick Stoeberl. According to the University of Edinburgh, a human tongue is around 3.3 inches (8.5 centimetres) for males and 3.1 inches (7.9 cm) for females.
The video of the competition shared on YouTube shows several participants whose tongue has been ruled for the contest. It is finally Praveen who has created the record for having the longest tongue. Watch the video.
