Rival Monkey gangs fight on the road over food; watch viral video
Thailand’s street witnessed a strange gang war between two groups of monkeys. Many monkeys crowded the road near a traffic junction reportedly over food.
FollowIn an unusual incident, several monkeys came face to face in Thailand. The video emerged on social media and is going crazy viral. This episode occurred in Lopburi, around 150km from Bangkok. The two rival groups of monkeys clashed with each other over food. A report suggested that the monkey's presence on the road made the traffic halt as the travellers waited to get the street clear for their movement.
In the video, hundreds of monkeys fighting with each other in the centre of a four-lane road. In contrast, commuters on motorbikes and cars were seen waiting in extreme fear. The person who recorded the video said that motorists tried to disperse the monkeys by honking their horns. However, which made them furious. An onlooker said he never witnessed a clash of such scale and related it to a gangster fight in a movie. It is believed that because of the Covid-19 pandemic, these monkeys are facing a shortage of food. The Facebook video posted by Wisrut Suwanphak has gone viral with over 10,000 shares; take a look.
