Rakshabandhan is celebrated to acknowledge the bond between brother and sister. The popular belief is that the sister ties rakhi (a uniquely made thread) on her brother's wrist, who takes a pledge to protect his sister from all problems. However, one bizarre conflict became fatal. Yes, a man in Bihar's Saran attempted to tie rakhi to a pair of snakes.

Reportedly, the 25-year-old youth identified as Manmohan died as he ventured to celebrate Rakshabandhan with two snakes. One of the snakes got infuriated while the man attempted to tie rakhi on the other. It seemed threatened with the move and bit the man. People shifted him to the hospital, but doctors declared him dead.

The video of the incident emerged on social media and went viral. In the video, Manmohan can be seen holding two snakes by their tails. Many village residents were also present to see the unique ceremony. While attempting to apply 'tika' on one of the snakes, the other serpent slowly slithered and bit his foot. Instantly he stood up to check his foot but looked fine for a few minutes. However, after some time, he was hospitalised and died during treatment. Take a look.
