An orthopaedic surgeon claimed that he could make people taller by up to 5.6 inches by stretching their limbs.

A doctor claims that he can stretch patients' limbs by up to 5.6 inches. Orthopaedic surgeon Shahab Mahboubian utilises a nail to perform height-lengthening surgery. Reportedly, extending the femur up to 8 centimetres will cost $75,000, increase the tibias for up to 6.5 cms, and cost $85,000.

Patients have to pay $155K for both the procedure. As per the video, after surgery, people need a walker for up to four months. The restoration time is 3-4 months, and after that, a patient can walk without anyone's help. Also, he can participate in sports activities after 6 to 8 months. The surgery includes cutting a person's bone and attaching an adaptable 'nail' for lengthening the femur.
