It all began as Ellis was on a maiden two-day visit to Bengaluru and posted a picture of him enjoying a Mysuru Masala Dosa.
In the picture, he can be seen eating the dosa with a fork and a knife and mentioned in the caption that he loved its taste.
Netizens were happy and appreciated him for trying out the Indian cuisine, but they suggested that the best way to enjoy Indian food is by eating with hands.
Ellis then pitched for a Twitter poll and asked people how to eat dosa tomorrow, and majority of netizens suggested hand as the best option.
In the video, he can be seen initially holding the cutlery and then quickly glances at his mobile then opts to enjoy his breakfast using his hands. Watch the video:
He also stated that 92% of Twitter was correct as the dish tasted better with hands while sharing the video.
The video went viral, garnering around 3 lakh views, and netizens were delighted by his gesture.
