'Stealing hearts': 99-year-old US woman models for granddaughter's beauty brand

FollowGiving a treat to people across the globe, a 99-year-old great-grandmother took the internet by storm after she became the face of a makeup brand. She has been identified as Helene Simon, who recently modelled for Saie Beauty, a brand run by her granddaughter Laney Crowell.

Speaking to the media, Simon said she had second thoughts about modelling, but her granddaughter did not give up on the idea. So what made the granny do the modelling? It was the idea of one of the followers of Crowell. Simon has six kids, 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She described the shooting experience to be fun and thrilling as she was surrounded by family and families who made her feel comfortable.Â
Crowell also spoke about how she convinced her grandmother. She said Simon's mind changed after Crowell found the photographer who had clicked Simon's favourite basketball player, Steph Curry. Dressed in a white shirt, on July 9, Saie introduced the great-grandmother as one of its models in a post. This post has stolen hearts as people showered love in the comment section.
