Warangals Kakatiya Mega Textile Park to generate more than a lakh jobs

Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari along with Warangal district officials visited the proposed textile park site at Geesukonda on the outskirts of Warangal to review the arrangements being made prior to the visit of CM K Chandrasekhar Rao on October 22.

Speaking on the occasion Srihari said that the mega textile park will bring in 1,20,000 jobs in the coming 5 years. The CM has sanctioned this textile park with a view to create jobs and also benefit from the cotton production in the region.

The mill coming up on 2,000 acres would provide necessary infrastructure for investors to set up their units and the state government plans to spend Rs 1600 crores to build the infrastructure.

KCR will also lay the foundation stone for ORR (Outer Ring Road) built with Rs 669 crores, Rs 72 crores road over bridge near Fathimanagar in Kazipet and Kakatiya Textile Park in Geesukonda.
