Hyderabad: Eve teasers chase after girls for 10 km, harass them when confronted [VIDEO]

In a rather shocking incident, the Cyberabad Police has registered a case against six youths after they stalked and eve-teased two girls travelling in autorickshaw. The youth chased after the girls for over 10 kms and when the girls finally confronted the youth, they started abusing them.

The incident occurred when the girls, both college students, were on their way to shopping in an autorickshaw, when at least six youths followed them on their motorcycles for several kms and stopped the three-wheeler, the police said.

According to police, the youths forced the driver out and abused the girls. One of the girls recorded the incident on her mobile phone, footage of which was aired by some local TV channels. It shows two youths riding a motorcycle hurling abuses at the girls.

Following the complaint, a case was registered on charge of stalking, wrongful restraint and criminal intimidation under relevant sections of the IPC, Mailardevapally Police Station Inspector P Jagadeeshwar said, adding that police have not made any arrests so far.

"Yesterday the victim girl along with one of her close relative was going to Abids for shopping where six men harassed her and used filthy language and even threatened her. Today morning the victim came to the police station and filed a complaint," said P Jagadeeshwar, Inspector Mailardevpally Police Station told India Today.
