Telangana senior leader, TRS Secretary General and Rajya Sabha member Dr. Kancherla Kesava Rao, popularly known as KK, was hospitalised on Friday at 5am due to ill-health. He was taken to the Banjara Hills NIMS hospital where the doctors after a thorough check up diagnosed him with fever and he was discharged by the afternoon.

KK had heart-related issues for quite some time and he became critically ill in 2015. So anxiety about his health condition is understandable.

78-year-old KK has had a long and active political career. He served as PCC chief in undivided Andhra Pradesh and also worked as a member of Congress Working Committee. He came out of Congress during Telangana movement and joined the TRS. At present he is playing a pivotal role in TRS and Telangana.
