Telangana Kamareddy district Nizamsagar Sub Inspector of Police Anthi Reddy reportedly is notorious for his short-temper.

According to the victim, SI Anthi Reddy was investigating a mobile theft case and had interrogated one Raju from Komalancha village of Nizamsagar Mandal of Kamareddy district.

Unable to bear the torture during the interrogation, Raju confessed of stealing the mobile, selling it and giving the money to his mother.

The SI angered by the confession went to Raju’s house at midnight 1:00 am, and threatened Raju’s mother Kurma Balamma. Even when the mother pleaded that she was innocent and doesn’t know about the money, SI beat her mercilessly.

He took her in his jeep, threatened to kill her if she spoke about the incident, and dumped her in the village outskirts and left.

The villagers angry at SI Anthi Reddy, for beating a woman mercilessly at midnight and harassing her have now demanded for the suspension of the SI.
