Rs 4000 crores penalty for public due to one and half year delay of Hyderabad Metro Rail Project

Telangana opposition Pradesh Congress Committee chief Uttam Kumar Reddy blamed chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for the delay in the prestigious Metro Rail Project which resulted in an additional burden of Rs 4,000 crores on the people. He alleged the ego of the CM to be the cause of this delay.

PCC Chief demanded that the CM has to apologise to the people for delaying the project and take responsibility for it.

IT Minister K Taraka Ramarao failed to refute the news or give a reasonable explanation when the media questioned him. When the media questioned KTR at the press meet organised in Nagole Metro Station, KTR diverted the topic asking the media as to who told them the news and to the value of the whole project. But didn’t refute the charges neither did he give an explanation. He indirectly accepted the delay in the project and said would reveal the details at the apt time and also commented that this public platform is not a suitable for such news.
