Revanth Reddy alleges KCR family’s involvement in drug case

Revanth Reddy alleges KCR family involvement in the drug case

In another twist in the drugs case shaking the state, Telangana Telugu Desam Party (TTDP) working president Revanth Reddy accused the Special Investigation Team (SIT) of selective investigation. He directly questioned SIT as to why notices were not issued to pubs owned by IT minister K. Taraka Ramarao’s family and friends.

He said that Hi-Life and Tonic pubs belonged to Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) leaders and that’s the reason why the police did not issues notice to them along with the others.  

He stated that Telangana government brought drugs case on the screen only to cover up the Miyapur Land Scam. He challenged the SIT Director to immediately respond and issue notices to Hi-Life and Tonic pubs.

He accused the SIT of investigating small people and leaving out the big shots. He questioned them as to why they have not intimated the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence and Narcotics departments in the Centre. He demanded the investigation be handed over to the Central investigating authorities.
