Malayali beauty Nithya Menon considered to be one of the intelligent and talented artist is seen acting as second female lead in her recent films including the yesterday-released Vijay’s Mersal. When Nithya debuted with Nani in Ala Modalaindhi in Telugu, audience felt happy at the newly discovered talent. She charmed the audience with her pretty face and expressions.

But after a couple of blockbuster hit films, people were surprised to see her cast as second female lead. When people saw her cast opposite Lawrence in Kanchana, they were shocked but her performance as a physically challenged girl Ganga was the highlight of the film.

Interestingly, Nithya is seen as the second female lead in Allu Arjun’s S/o Satyamurthy, Surya’s 24, Jr. NTR’s Janata Garage and even in Vijay’s Mersal.

Why is Nithya being picked up only as a second heroine even after doing lead character in many films? Are the filmmakers only coming forward to ask her as the second heroine?

It was earlier rumoured that her height maybe the cause of leading heroes rejecting her as a female lead and so she maybe cast as a second heroine. But her fans are expecting to see her once again as the main lead at least in the future as reported in Tupaki.
