Miyapur land scam: Sravan Dasoju wants KT Rama Rao to answer these questions

An open letter to the Minister for IT, Industries and Urban Development K.T. Rama Rao:

1.    Sir, you claim you have been given clean chit in the in Miyapur land scam. But you lose your temper when questioned as who the “big fish” involved in this scam.

2.    Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary to KTR in his interview to Economic Times has revealed that there are several scams similar to Miyapur.
3.    Economic Times published the news. But KTR became angry with the newspaper and the journalist Sukumar for writing that article.
4.    Why are there differences between Minister’s words and IAS officer’s words? Who is true? Who is false?
5.    Isn’t it true that the highest court gave bail based on CM’s bulletin?
6.    If nothing was amiss, then why did the Rajya Sabha Member KK give up his lands?
7.    Why is there no action taken against Rajya Sabha Member D. Srinivas?
8.     Where is Goldstone Prasad? Who is protecting Goldstone Prasad? Did they send him to a foreign country as they did with Vijay Mallya?
9.     Why is there no action against KTR’s close friend Praveen Reddy, secretary to Goldstone Prasad?
10.     Why is there no action against KCR’s close relative Damodar Rao, President of Namasthe Telangana?
11.     News of wrongdoings came out on the stage of Pragathi Bhavan. Where are the big fish?
12.     We fought against land thieving during the Telangana Movement.
13.     After Telangana came into existence, where is the action against MR land scam? Why have you filed petitions supporting them and not any investigation against the thieves? 
14.     Regarding Raheja, Telangana government itself gave false proofs to the court. What’s the truth in this news?
15.     What happened to the land occupancy case of film hero Nagarjuna’s N Convention? Was that a gift since he is KTR’s friend and because of his support to TRS in the GHMC elections? But they destroyed the houses of the middle class in Ayappa Society.
16.     Even after three years, why were they not able to get back not even one cent of land?
17.     Why did you transfer IAS officer Iqbal, who was sincerely working in Wakf Board and was feared by illegal land occupants?
18.     Even after 3 years why didn’t TRS make Wakf Board a judicial authority as promised in the election manifesto?
19.     Why did you abolish the land occupancy protection act that was prevalent in the United AP? Who is gaining through these measures? If this act was prevalent then like MR, Miyapur land scammers would not be able to secure a bail and would have been in the jail. Isn’t it true?

20.     I have known the Economic Times journalist Sukumar for the past 30 years. He studied MA in philosophy and also completed his M.Phil in Hyderabad Central University. He stood first in the country and is awarded the best research scholar receiving Commonwealth International Fellowship.
21.     He actively participated in agitations during his student days, and right now living a middle-class life with his own principles and values.
22.     Though he’s born in Reddy caste in Jangaon in Warangal District, he was inspired by Ambedkar. As a result he removed his caste title in his name.
23.     Truth is always bitter. Unable to digest the truth, they targeted Sukumar saying that he is corrupt, and that he sold himself. They wrote wrongly about him and lauded themselves in their own newspaper. How far is this right? After coming to power, they got used to buying and selling and consider everyone in the same vein.
24.     Sukumar, is being portrayed as corrupt by KTR and I don’t know if KTR knows this or not, during the Telangana movement, the Sukumar had met KCR in his farmhouse. He even took his interviews and published them in national newspapers. Not once but many times, he wrote articles. Then he wrote articles supporting the movement. Now after TRS came to power, he is writing about their wrongdoings. But the truth is like fire. One day it would burn.
25.     If someone praises you they are good, if not they are betrayers of Telangana. This is the symbol of TRS officials’ poverty, their habits.
26.     TRS has the history of making politics a business. In the name of political unity and going against movement principles, TRS officials blackmailed opposition representatives and bought contracts through moneybags. It is their stupidity to think that the same business can be applied to journalism.
27.     Many newspapers and channels wrote about the land scam. Not only Economic Times or Sukumar. Since this being a business paper, they would have written in the business perspective. That doesn’t mean that so many allegations should be laid on them? Are they angry because he didn’t sell himself to the government?
28.     In the past in the name of Telangana sentiment, these people used power to trample news channels like Andhra Jyothi, ABN and TV9.
29.     Today none of the media houses have freedom. They are being blackmailed by the TRS officials and are facing troubles. Either be sold or be trampled is the work mode of TRS.
30.     If you think you would loot the state in the mask of Hyderabad glory and Telangana sentiment, the socially aware and educated Telangana society will not accept. They will question you and make you stand. That question safeguards democracy.
31.     TRS officials don’t know the difference between rulers and people. People will question and the rulers must patiently answer. It’s a crime to retaliate. It’s against democracy.
32.     KTR comments are against freedom of news. It’s a political power of blackmail. It’s curtailing the freedom of expression. What would happen to the fourth pillar of Telangana, the media? The government power politics must be questioned.
33.     KTR’s dream to become the future CM of Telangana is in danger because of his anti-democracy thoughts. We can see the dictatorial rule in the coming days.
34.     Telangana is not only for TRS people. It belongs to everyone born in this land. TRS officials should realise that Telangana should prosper through democracy.
35.     Can the government dare to come for an open discussion on land scam? Give the investigation to CBI. Don’t leave anyone, however powerful they are and whichever party they belong to.
