Video: Landlord denies entry of boy’s dead body, mum stays all night out in the rain

FollowThis inhuman and shocking incident took place in the capital city of Telangana where a heartless landlord refused the entry of his tenant’s dead son into the house.
According to Outlook India, the mother Dasarla Eswaramma, a native of Mahbubnagar district along with her 10 year-old and 9 year-old sons was residing in a rented house in Jagadgiri Gutta in Hyderabad. She worked as a domestic help.
Dasarla Suresh studying in Class VI in a Government High School died of dengue fever at Niloufer hospital earlier that day and the landlord Jagadishwaraiah, who runs a grocery store, considered it inauspicious to keep the body inside the house as a recent marriage had taken place in his house, New Indian Express reports. The local people tried to convince the landlord since it was raining outside, but he refused. So they brought a freezer box and covered it with tarpaulin sheet. The mother and her other son Dev Kumar spent the whole night outside in the rain grieving their loss.
The local residents collected around Rs 60,000 for conducting the last rites. No complaint was lodged and hence no case was registered.
Where one door closes, many doors are opened. The inhuman attitude of the landlord brought out the humanity of the whole society in helping the mother and her children in their hour of need.
