KCR comments on Kodandaram criticised by TRS leaders

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s critical and sarcastic words are always enjoyed by his party leaders who discuss about it and comment on it. His press meets are always enjoyed by TRS (Telangana Rashtra Samithi) leaders who take pride in his comments.

But his comments on Telangana JAC (Joint Action Committee) chairman Prof Kodandaram, on Friday, have not been appreciated by his leaders. KCR lashed out at Kodandaram for conducting the Amarula Spoorthi Yatra.

KCR was addressing media persons after the trade union affiliated to the TRS swept the polls in the state-owned Singareni Collieries Company Limited defeating the alliance of opposition parties. Prof Kodandaram had called the people to vote against TRS prior to these elections.

According to Tupaki news, KCR said that a dog under a vehicle feels as if it is carrying the vehicle and that the mindset of Kodandaram is no different. KCR remarked that he was the one who had begun the Telangana movement in 2001 and people like Kodandaram were nowhere in sight and that he was the one who had groomed thousands of workers. Kodandaram has never even been a sarpanch in his life.

He added that it was he who made Kodandaram as TJAC chairman on the advice of Prof Jayashankar and that he had already offered MLA and MP ticket to Kodandaram but he was always against TRS and was spitting venom against the party. KCR also alleged that Kodandaram was behind the present condition of the Congress in Telangana as he was the one who advised Congress not to form alliance with TRS.

TRS leaders surprised with this lash out against Prof Kodandaram commented that it was not right on the part of KCR to treat Kodandaram Sir on the same level as others. They were disturbed with the venomous comments of KCR and felt that he should not have made such comments against Kodandaram Sir.
