"Additional Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) Srinivas Rao would conduct the inquiry into the circumstances in which the vehicle of the minister was stopped," city Police Commissioner M Mahendar Reddy said tonight.

The inquiry will fix the responsibility and the Additional Commissioner of Police will submit a report for taking appropriate action, he said.

According to another report by the UNI, it was said that the minister, who had gone to visit the temple for the festival, was asked to go to the temple on foot due to heavy rush, despite the staff trying to explain the cops stationed there.
